My partner and I have been
looking to start a business together for quite some time.
I have always been the idea guy and he is the
one with the great mind for business. Together we make one great team.
I took a second job with
Uber as a driver. One night I was driving along waiting for the next rider and
it hit me. Why not have an "Uber for your stuff"?
My idea was to have a setup similar to Uber with an app based service that
connected customers, both personal and businesses with contracted delivery
experts.
Our app matches up the driver closest to the request that has a vehicle on file suitable for the job and dispatches them immediately.

the basic service we also have a "bidding board" for customers that
really want to get the best deal.
Drivers benefit from having the flexibility to be their own bosses and use what every vehicle (as long as it meets state and federal regulations) to deliver anything legal. So in example.

A customer
is antique shopping and comes across a large piece of furniture that will not
fit in her vehicle. Normally the customer would have 2 options. Arrange for
delivery that may be very time consuming and expensive or decide it's not worth
the trouble. With our app the customer can litterally open the app.
Get a quote
and accept the fee, or place the job on the bidding board. Once the customer
decides the price is right the charges are accepted and a driver is dispatched
right away or at the customers specified time.
Item is delivered and the customers in app payment is charged. No matter what it is you need delivered, food, groceries, furniture, industrial machines or equipment, or even documents or dry cleaning, we deliver it.

My advise to any one
starting a business is to stick with it and don't give up.
Adapt, preserve, thing and dig deep. That is what you must do. Everything else is secondary.
